About the RoleRetail Media is transforming how advertisers connect with consumers through personalised and targeted campaigns across retailers’ digital and physical touchpoints. As an Engineering Manager within Tesco Media, you will lead a team of engineers responsible for building and scaling technology solutions that enable advertisers and retailers to measure and optimise campaign performance.
This role combines technical leadership, people management and delivery excellence. You will work closely with Product, Design and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality software while creating an environment where engineers can grow, collaborate and perform at their best.

- Experience leading software engineering teams in an Agile environment from an Adtech, Retail Media OR Saas background
- Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, architecture and cloud-native application development.
- Ability to balance technical decision-making with business priorities and customer outcomes.
- Proven capability to develop talent through coaching, mentoring and performance support.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions.
- Enjoy enabling engineers to do their best work and grow their careers.
- Can successfully navigate ambiguity and drive clarity across teams and stakeholders.
- Have experience supporting large-scale, customer-facing products in fast-paced environments.
