To support this strategy, we are investing in the development of packaged, productized solutions (Market Risk, Credit Risk, Liquidity Risk, etc.), delivered in a standardized way and optionally hosted by ActiveViam. 

Your role 

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead this new Solutions Engineering team and deliver its strategic vision, in London or Paris. 

This role is critical to ActiveViam’s success. You will be responsible for transforming Atoti use cases into scalable, standardized products while preserving the technological excellence of the platform. 

You will manage a growing team (around 15 engineers by 2026) and work closely with Core R&D, Product Management, Operations, and Sales. 

Your responsibilities 

• Lead and grow the Solutions Engineering team 

• Drive the development of packaged, scalable solutions built on Atoti 

• Define and enforce clear boundaries between configuration, extensibility and unsupported customizations 

• Ensure product robustness: stable data models, upgrade paths, version compatibility 

• Collaborate closely with Core R&D on platform capabilities and constraints 

• Partner with Sales and Product to align customer needs with long-term product strategy 

• Promote operational excellence, scalability and maintainability 

• Contribute to roadmap definition and success metrics for the Solutions portfolio 

Your profile 

Experience 

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering 

• Proven track record as Engineering Manager or equivalent role 

• Experience managing teams of 10+ engineers 

• Strong background in B2B software, ideally in regulated environments 

Product & domain expertise 

• Experience transitioning from platform / toolkit to productized solutions 

• Exposure to analytics, risk management, financial systems or adjacent domains 

• Strong understanding of scalability, cloud multi-tenant architectures and operability 

Skills & mindset 

• Product-oriented engineering leadership 

• Ability to make and enforce architectural and product trade-offs 

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills 

• Comfortable saying “no” when needed to protect scalability and product integrity
