We’re looking for an Engineering Manager who’s hungry to drive the technical direction of our product and lead a small, high-performing team that ships with impact. You’ll be the technical counterpart to our Product Lead — working side-by-side to shape roadmaps, make tradeoffs, and ensure we’re building the right things the right way.
All of our engineering managers write code regularly, so you should bring both the desire and ability to stay hands-on with development — ideally with a strong focus on frontend architecture and user-facing experiences.

Raise the bar on our code quality, setting standards and regularly providing hands-on guidance.
Improve and set the standard(s) for testing strategy.
Set standards for product incident management and follow-through.
4-6 years (minimum) of experience managing engineers, with proven results.
Strong technical background and ability / desire to regularly contribute code — particularly in modern frontend frameworks and TypeScript-based environments.
Track record of driving product-focused engineering outcomes.
Excellent communicator who thrives on tight collaboration, ideally in small, fast-moving team environments.
Prior product engineering management of B2B applications, ideally in a crypto environment.

What We Do
Unit 410 is an experienced team of security, infrastructure, and cryptocurrency engineers. We empower the largest stakeholders to use their crypto in secure and novel ways. To do so, we build institutional-grade systems and solutions for secure network participation. Before Unit 410, we’ve worked at companies like Coinbase, Google, and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory.
We’ve long believed in the potential of cryptocurrency and are excited to continue pushing forward the state of the art through industry-leading key generation, encryption, and network participation. As we engineer systems and solutions, we often find pieces that we think should exist. So we build them, and whenever possible share those back with the community.
