What you’ll do ​& Who you are

For our team in Berlin we are looking for an Engineering Manager (d/f/m). Our agile team is focused on the trust aspects of our platform. If you’re passionate about automotive technology, product ownership, and user-driven innovation, this is the team for you! Beside leading your team, you'll become an active part of our company-wide leadership group, where we exchange, iterate and improve our leadership principles and ways of working.

You will report directly to the Head of Technology. This is a hybrid role, and our office is based in Berlin Charlottenburg.

What you´ll do:

• Lead a team of software engineers. You help your team to grow as engineers, contributors to the business and as teammates.

• Be a close partner for Product, UX and Business to find pragmatic solutions for our customer needs that can be easily and quickly A/B tested.

• Contribute to and shape business, culture and ways of working of the crew.

• Strengthen a metric-driven culture to leverage rather data than gut-feel

• Be an ambassador for your team and build connections to important partners from Product, Business, Analytics, Customer Service etc.

Who you are:

• You have experience leading software engineering teams, and you embrace the concept of Servant Leadership

• Experience and passion with Agile software development, product discovery and continuous delivery

• You have the willingness and skill to use non-violent communication in general and constructive feedback in particular. You know the concept of "Radical Candor" and will help us to evolve further in that direction.

• Connect with peers and partners across the organization

• 3+ years of experience with data-driven decision-making and working with measurements

• Change is inevitable in our company. Therefore an openness to rather shape than oppose change is a necessity

• Our company-language is English - German is a plus
