About This Role:Join Crusoe Energy as an Engineering Manager and lead a talented team focused on revolutionizing our cloud infrastructure. In this pivotal role, you'll drive the general availability of crucial metrics across all Crusoe resources, including virtual machines and shared disk volumes, while scaling our existing architecture to meet the demands of enterprise clients. You'll also spearhead the expansion of our monitoring capabilities to encompass logs and traces, and explore the integration of Large Language Models (LLMs) to build cutting-edge AI solutions within our observability product. What You’ll Be Working On:Lead Day-to-Day Delivery: Manage and guide a team of engineers, ensuring the consistent delivery of high-quality, impactful work.
Drive Technical Excellence: Champion process improvements, operational excellence, and best practices across the team.
Cultivate Team Growth: Coach and mentor individual engineers, setting clear performance expectations and defining career goals to foster a high-performing and sustainable team.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner seamlessly with product, design, and other engineering teams both inside and outside the organization to align on goals and deliver integrated solutions.
Manage Complex Projects: Lead critical projects that involve multiple engineers, including those outside your direct report structure, ensuring customer outcomes are auditable and decisions are data-driven.
Influence Strategic Roadmaps: Contribute significantly to the team's roadmap, impacting long-term team goals and operational performance metrics.
Expand Observability Solutions: Drive the expansion of monitoring beyond metrics to include robust log and trace capabilities within our Cloud Monitoring System.
Innovate with AI: Explore and integrate LLMs into the Cloud Monitoring product to develop advanced AI-powered observability solutions.
Proven Leadership: Demonstrate a strong track record of people management, leading with empathy, and fostering a sustainable workload for your teams.
Technical Acumen: Possess the capability to manage a team where problems, opportunities, and strategies may not be fully defined, driving clarity and direction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Exhibit excellent technical communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively collaborate across diverse roles and functions.
Project Ownership: Proven experience in owning and delivering projects, ensuring work quality is measurable and decisions are data-driven.

Required Education: Bachelor's degree.

Compensation will be paid in the range of $204,000 - $247,000. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
