The Opportunity

We are looking for our first Engineering Manager in the UK to lead a highly skilled, growing team of 4-7 Senior Full-Stack Engineers. As we grow our international presence, this role will be crucial in fostering technical excellence and strong team dynamics. You will be working closely with LTX teams in Israel to drive innovation in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Agility: Promote a startup mindset, ensuring the team is nimble, adaptable, and focused on delivering key milestones and business objectives.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire the LTX team, fostering an environment of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Technical Vision: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to execute the technical roadmap, ensuring alignment with the overall business goals and AI-driven product vision.
• Engineering Excellence: Ensure high-quality code, architecture, and technical designs that meet the highest standards of reliability, scalability, and performance.

About You :

• Technical Expertise: You are a hands-on leader with strong technical knowledge in both frontend and backend technologies. You have a deep understanding of scalable web architectures and  experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Leadership & Mentorship: Proven experience leading a team, preferably within a startup or fast-paced environment. Advantage past experience working with Israeli companies. You excel in building trust, coaching, and empowering engineers to reach their full potential.
• Problem-Solving Mindset: Can do attitude. You thrive in a dynamic environment and are skilled in balancing technical debt with delivering key product features. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with international teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional groups. Experience managing distributed teams is a plus.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or similar leadership role.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in full-stack development using TypeScript, Python, or Go
• Experience with frontend frameworks such as React, Vue.js, Angular, or Next.js.
• knowledge of backend technologies including Node.js, Flask, or Nest.js and familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
• Experience working in or managing teams in a startup-like, fast-moving environment.
• Comfortable working with distributed teams across time zones.
• A track record of delivering complex technical projects on time.
