Our hub locations are Dublin, Madrid and New York, and we are currently expanding our development hub in Madrid. As part of this new initiative, we are hiring a Technical Lead who will drive the design, development and technical ownership of a core element of our platform.

Our technology strategy is based on the MACH principles of microservices, API first, cloud, and headless. We are looking for a Technical Lead with the highest level of hands on technical and leadership skills, and a passion for building impactful teams and driving technical excellence.

You will lead a development team within our technology organisation where your technical knowledge combined with your people management, and delivery skills ensure we complete our deliveries on time.

  • Work with and provide day to day leadership and support to an engineering team responsible for developing/delivering key features within its domain.
  • Work with engineering and product leaders to drive close collaboration within the global teams.
  • Drive execution to ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Collaborate across functions to support planning and road-map prioritization.
  • Anticipate technical challenges and define strategy through long-term planning.
  • Continuously strive to introduce improvements and innovations to the team.

  • Proven experience in leading and running technical teams, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
  • Experience building and maintaining 24x7 production-critical systems.
  • Deep technical knowledge with a history of solving complex problems. Adept at identifying and solving security, scaling, resilience, and consistency challenges.
  • Experience in e-commerce is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of development stack advantages: C#, WebApi, .NET Core, Kafka, Kubernetes, Microservices, Cosmos DB, Azure.
  • Experience in Domain Driven Design, software design patterns and modern SDLC methodology, such as CI/CD, testing and release approaches.
  • Proficient in Test Driven Development working within an Agile SCRUM team. We use the agile methodology combined with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
  • Intellectual curiosity, learning agility, and passion for tackling tough problems.
  • Outstanding communication skills required – primarily the ability to communicate ideas.
