Engineering Lead

We are seeking for an experienced engineering lead who aids and guides the team in day to day operations, facilitating processes, tools and resources that the team needs to achieve maximum potential. Additionally, the position serves as an interface to other teams and HR and takes on operational duties and decisions to relive the team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire a team of developers and testers to deliver high-quality, scalable software solutions. Oversee onboarding and integration of new team members. Foster a collaborative, respectful team environment.
• Ensure continuous growth and skill development across the team. Promote knowledge sharing, mentorship, and pair programming to encourage collective ownership. Actively participate in recruitment and interviews in collaboration with the recruiting team. Coordinate onboarding efforts with Product Owners and Scrum Masters.
• Own the technical direction and ensure alignment with project goals and architectural standards. Guide the team in designing scalable and maintainable systems in line with best practices. Collaborate with the architecture team on system design and strategic technical decisions. Continuously improve development processes, toolchains, and delivery practices. Drive innovation through technical spikes and proof-of-concepts for new technologies.

What we expect

• At least 5 years in a tech leadership role, managing developers and testers within agile delivery teams.
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery frameworks.
• Strong experience in .NET Core, C#, and modern backend development practices.
• Proven knowledge of microservices, service-oriented architecture, and design patterns.
• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and WebSockets.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to translate architectural concepts into clean, maintainable, production-ready code.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and retain high-performing team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills: Capable of building trust and alignment across multiple stakeholders including Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and other Tech Leads.
• Deep knowledge of Agile methodologies, engineering best practices, and modern DevOps strategies.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• Very good command of both spoken and written Polish and English
