ENGINEERING LEAD
Work Location: Remote
As an Engineering Lead, you will take responsibility of technical solution delivery of our e2open Global Trade management intelligent application suite to meet customer business requirements. Northern VA or Raleigh, NC areas preferred, but will consider other markets for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create and manage a development plan to track internal configuration efforts for an accurate and timely delivery
- Support customer testing and manage the deployment efforts prior to go-live
- You will analyze the architectures behind complex business processes and will oversee the integration of our software products with customer platforms
- Confident appearance when facing client and team
- Ability to manage a global, technical development plan
- Additional duties as assigned
QUALIFICATONS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 4 years of technical developer lead experience (Global Trade Management industry preferred but not required)
- Willing to work with internal and external teams, grow analytical skills, creativity, and new technical skills
- Strong skills in JAVA, SQL, JavaScript, Docker deployments
- Familiarity with using JIRA, GIT, and other software development tools.
- Basic knowledge of Linux / Unix
- Integration experience with various protocols including HTTPS, FTP, AS2, etc. and payload formats such as EDI, XML, JSON, CSV, etc.,
- Experience in integration design is highly desirable
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- General office environment and responsibilities requiring:
- Extensive use of the computer which involves viewing a monitor and keyboarding for most of the workday
- Placing and receiving phone calls
- Occasionally moving and lifting objects up to 20 pounds
- Require travel as needed based on project demands.
