Essential Responsibilities
- Supervise the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) team responsible for complete delivery and maintenance of PISCES systems currently deployed, as well as future release content planning.
- Work with the Program Manager/Deputy Program Manager and the Sponsor to properly identify and prioritize features and benefits eligible for Release Planning.
- Implement and maintain effective tools to evaluate/analyze data movement, ensuring its integrity through all steps of ingestion/processing/dissemination.
- Support the network contractor on integration issues and maximizing system performance to include diagnostics and resolution.
- Evaluate system performance and recommend improvements to address issues and plans for long term.
- Support and improve the processes and procedures needed to provide "real-time" support for deployed teams.
- Provide baseline systems support to deployed field engineers, trainers, and program personnel on TDY.
- Identify software "bugs" and report to Sponsor and perform corrective actions.
- Work with the Operations Lead to organize software engineers to resolve reported problems as identified by deployment personnel.
- Prepare and present baseline briefings to the customer, including status, findings, and
- observations.
- Maintain Tier 3 level support processes for helpdesk issues and maintain reporting mechanism to the appropriate BMS review board.
- Interface with third party vendors for monitoring, troubleshooting, tracking, and reporting metrics.
- Supervise teams and coordinate with the: network contractor to ensure data movement occurs per set schedule. Implement a timely notification and resolution process to address shortfalls.
- Work with the training and deployed teams to define improvements, system functionality, and improvements to system, workflow, and processes.
- Work with the Test Team to define acceptance criteria for functionality in each Release Cycle.
- Establish and maintain tools for Software Configuration Management, versioning, and builds.
Minimum Requirements
- Must have a Bachelors Degree and 8-10 years experience, Masters Degree and 6-8 years experience or PhD and 3-5 years of experience
- Must hold a U.S. Government issued TS/SCI w/Poly at time of offer
