Responsibilities
- Work under the guidance of experienced engineers and project managers to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
- Assist with engineering design, calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation for a variety of projects.
- Support the development and review of engineering deliverables while ensuring accuracy, quality, and compliance with project requirements.
- Perform engineering analyses, evaluations, and calculations with mentorship and oversight as needed.
- Participate in field visits to verify existing conditions, collect data, and support project design efforts.
- Learn and apply industry standards, client specifications, and company procedures to engineering projects.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project planning, coordination, and successful execution.
- Gain proficiency in engineering software, design tools, and project documentation processes.
- Assist with equipment selection, system layouts, and technical recommendations based on project needs.
- Develop an understanding of project phases, engineering workflows, and best practices through hands-on experience.
- Participate in quality assurance reviews and incorporate feedback to improve technical deliverables.
- Demonstrate initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn while contributing to project success.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil, Structural, Electrical, Environmental, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering with an anticipated graduation date after May 2027
- Previous engineering internship, co-op, research, or relevant project experience is preferred but not required.
- Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certification or plans to pursue the FE after graduation is a plus
- Must be well organized and able to prioritize work effectively
- Ability to set goals, manage multiple assignments, and meet project deadlines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative, adaptability, and eagerness to learn in a collaborative team environment
- Must possess exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
