Your assignmentYou will assist the FILD Competence Team in designing and implementing a documentation roll-out structure. This includes defining workflows and support processes that ensure end users, such as designers, architects, and supplier quality engineers, are properly trained, informed, and aware of the applicable design rules. Your main responsibilities will be:
Supporting the development of internal processes for document creation, version control, and publication
Assisting FILD engineers in structuring the roll-out of documentation to relevant end-user groups
Developing a scalable review process framework to guide FILD engineers in identifying appropriate stakeholders based on document type
Creating templates or checklists to support reviewer selection (e.g., safety, compliance, design, project leads)
Ensuring the review process remains flexible and adaptable to evolving roles and responsibilities
Defining workflows that ensure documentation users are properly trained and informed
Collaborating with FILD engineers to align documentation efforts with team objectives
Working with FILD stakeholders to co-develop an effective roll-out strategy
Providing structured input to improve internal workflows and enhance knowledge accessibility
This is a bachelor or master (non-thesis) internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 3 days per week (1-3 days on-site). The start date of this internship is around February 2026.
Your profileTo be suitable for the internship, you:
Have a background in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related;
Have an interest in engineering documentation, process design, and internal tooling;
Have experience in process development, workflow design or technical background in fluid systems design (preferred but not required);
Possess solid organizational and analytical skills;
Are proactive and capable of working both independently and collaboratively;
Possess great communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
Other requirements you need to meet:
You are enrolled at an educational institute for the entire duration of the internship;
You need to be located in the Netherlands to be able to perform your internship. In case you ‘re currently living/studying outside of the Netherlands, your CV/motivation letter includes the willingness to relocate.
If you are a non-EU citizen, studying in the Netherlands, your university is willing to sign the documents relevant for doing an internship (i.e., Nuffic agreement).
This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
