• Support the accuracy, organization, and maintenance of engineering documents, records, files, and data within applicable ERP, PLM, document control, and departmental systems.

• Develop and maintain process maps, workflows, templates, work instructions, standard practices, policies, and procedures in collaboration with Engineering subject matter experts and leadership.

• Assist with standardizing engineering administrative processes and workflows across functions and global sites.

• Provide general administrative and operational support to the Engineering department, including recurring and ad hoc needs that improve team effectiveness.

• Support departmental reporting and data collection, including preparation and maintenance of Engineering metrics, trackers, dashboards, and status information.

• Coordinate meetings, action items, follow-ups, and departmental communications as assigned.

• Support Engineering onboarding, training coordination, document distribution, and maintenance of training or reference materials.

• Act as a liaison between Engineering and other departments for assigned administrative workflows and transactions, including Purchasing, Quality, Manufacturing, Project Management, and Document Control.

• Support Engineering leaders with special projects, organizational initiatives, and administrative activities as business needs arise.

• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, or otherwise improve Engineering administrative processes and actively support Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives.

• Track assigned workload, priorities, turnaround times, and open actions; communicate status, constraints, and support needs to Engineering leadership.

• Travel to other ABEC locations as required to support collaboration, process alignment, workshops, training, onboarding, and other departmental initiatives.

• Execute other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree, bachelor’s degree, or equivalent relevant experience in Engineering Technology, Business, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field preferred.

• 1-3 years of experience in engineering, manufacturing, technical administration, document control, project support, or similar environment preferred.

• Experience working with ERP, PLM, document management, or other enterprise business systems preferred.

• Experience supporting part number creation, BOM maintenance, engineering change processes, or controlled technical documentation is a plus.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow work through to completion.

• Strong written communication skills with the ability to draft and organize procedures, policies, work instructions, process maps, and other business documentation.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with process mapping, workflow, reporting, or collaboration tools is a plus.

• Ability to work independently in a site-based role while building effective working relationships across functions and locations.

• Comfort working with Engineers, Designers, Managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather information, coordinate actions, and support standardized processes.

• Awareness of Continuous Improvement (CI), Lean, or process improvement principles is a plus.
