Job Description
Exegy is seeking a Web Developer/Security Engineer to work in their Information Technology Services division. This is a unique position that will lead the effort of automating IT processes, linking internal infrastructure to cloud-based services/platforms, and providing development, integration, security analysis, and support of a number of web portals. This full-time internal role is based in St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications
Specifically, you will:
- Provide website development and security expertise on enterprise websites and customer portals
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure
- Develop/integrate systems to auto-provision VMware VMs and containers with linkages to Active Directory, Infoblox, and other cloud-based services
- Provide database expertise in the management of several clustered MySQL and Postgres databases
- Manage implementation and security of services provided by cloud vendors, with integration into the enterprise SSO
- Provide expertise in ongoing IT and Operations technology planning and research
- Working on ways to automate and improve development and release processes
- Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results
- Ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats
- Manage and support both Docker and Swarm containers running on a number of VMware clusters
- Incorporate JFrog Xray into the security regimen of assessing development and production containers
What We'll Love About You:
- Scripting experience in BASH, Perl, PHP, JavaScript, Angular, and Python
- Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or relevant industry experience
- Strong understanding of VPN's and their configuration
- Strong understanding of DNS and DNS administration - Infoblox a plus
- Experience with ServiceNow and Jira
- Experience with Puppet
- Experience in using/creating APIs
- Remote access configuration and management
- Understanding of Change management
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team
- Excellent team building and communication skills
- Your knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows and Linux) and networking
What is Required:
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Expertise in containers
- Expertise in Node.js
- Expertise in website development
- Working knowledge of databases - MySQL and Postgres
- Associate or higher degree in a related field
- Strong communication and documentation skills
