Job Description

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer that can hit the ground running. We are in need of getting stable and reliable automation tests in place. You will be responsible for working with the other Test Engineers in developing a plan/process as well as implementing it. We are looking for someone who brings a good attitude and likes to have fun but is also a hard worker and motivated to do a good job. We strive to nurture a collaborative environment and look forward to bringing someone on board who likes to learn new things and take ownership in the overall quality of our product.

  • Write, maintain and execute automated tests for an assigned product
  • Develop and implement an automation framework
  • Work with Developers in creating tests during development
  • Assist Developers in fixing broken tests 
  • Assists in investigating test failures and log defects when found
  • Coordinate with Sr Engineer, QA and Development in writing and executing automated tests for builds/deploys
  • Coordinate with Development on handling automated test coverage using UI, Unit and Integration tests
  • Assist Product Management and QA with writing and approving feature acceptance tests
  • Perform code reviews of automated test changes
  • Assist QA with manual testing of new features
  • Continually review and select manual test cases for automation test suites
  • Verifying tests on Product Releases
  • Mentor Jr and Level I test engineers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2 years relevant experience and training or 3-5 years relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance techniques and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies (e.g. automated, exploratory, performance, load).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small-group situations to customers, clients, and other employees.
  • Knowledge of operating systems, development tools and approaches.
  • Experience testing mobile devices
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with automation tools and processes
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with HTML, CSS, C#, Python, Jmeter, JS, Selenium, Xcode, Android Studio
