Our work depends on a Systems Engineer who has proven work experience working with ETL, Oracle, SQL, MySQL, AWS technologies and other Amazon Web Services, to join our team to support our client in Chantilly VA.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

• Providing engineering support to aid in maintaining an data infrastructure to include data warehouse technologies, data pipelines and database management systems (Oracle,PostGres, MySQL).
• Documenting experience with defining and leading the practices and technologies required in organizing the collection, processing and storing of data from multiple sources.
• Providing technicalguidance and support todata development team.
• Serving as a subject matter expert capable of identifyingnew ways to standardize existing data processes and optimizing current workflows.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• You will provide technical acumen and be able to quickly analyze data infrastructure, assist with optimizing extraction, and provide transformation and loading (ETL) of a diverse set of data sources.
• You will need experience working with SQL and AWS technologies, such as, Amazon Web Services (S3, RDS, EC2, ECS, Lambda, SQS, SNS,CloudFormation,DMS, CDC).
• You will need work experience with engineering, building and integrating analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
• You will need experience working with internal and external stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues in support of the data infrastructure needs.
• You will need proven work experience and skills working with DB Schema design, SQL development and Agile practices.
• Work experience with Python is desired
• Prefer a BA/BS degree and/or equivalent work experience equal to 15+ years of experience
• A current TS/SCI clearance with a restricted polygraph is required
