As a Systems Engineer - Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC/E3) on the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) team, you will support the Systems Engineering (SE) Special Disciplines Organization.
In this role your responsibilities will include:• Work in a development environment to support the design and develop technically complex systems • Apply and grow your electromagnetic engineering skills to enable the logical and systematic conversion of customer needs into total systems derived requirements and solutions • Perform and support analysis, timeline analysis, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications• Perform and support requirements sell-off through: Compiling, organizing, performing, analyzing and documenting completed compliance verification process which assesses design performance and operational electromagnetic issues at both the package and system levels • Provide team participation and support while growing your EMC skills during: Technical Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3) Test Planning, System Integration, and Verification/Validation of E3 components, test setup and performance oversight • Join the enterprise EMC Engineering group and work alongside EMC subject matter experts• Our program offers a clean-sheet design with the most challenging requirements, providing terrific learning opportunities and growth potential
Successful candidates typically have at minimum a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of relevant experience.

Basic Qualifications:• Bachelor's degree Electrical Engineering, Physics, or closely related technical field and/or equivalent experience• Working knowledge and conversant with Mil-Std 461/464 requirements and the applicable test methods • Basic knowledge of Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) theory• Ability to obtain a DOD Secret clearance (U.S. Citizenship required.)
Desired Skills:• Experience with satellite and/or missile system and/or box level test and analysis (or equivalent) • MATLAB, Excel, CST (3-D modeling software tool), and PSPICE (or equivalent) experience • Generating EMC / E3 Control Plans, procedures, Lab Reports, or equivalent • Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Analysis experience• EMC test equipment experience• Demonstrated basic understanding of systems thinking skills and behaviors • Microsoft Office applications• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong social skills, and ability to build solid relationships with team members • Active or Current DoD Secret Security clearance

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 9x80 every other Friday off
