We are looking for an entry-level Systems Engineer team member to contribute to the integration, verification and validation (V&V) of state-of-the-art diagnostic instrumentation.
You will be exposed to many facets of the product lifecycle: Development, verification and validation, and sustaining on-market platforms. The skills you learn will help you determine your engineering strength and preferred career path.

You naturally apply engineering principals to solve for complex problems. You have a passion for developing and testing systems using an interdisciplinary skillset, a cross between biochemistry & electromechanics, to build and/or optimize equipment.
Key Outcomes:
- Engineering design and analysis for product development of automated instrument platforms.
- Perform and/or design experiments and V&V protocols
- Conduct system-level tests in the lab to determine product feasibility and support product development.
- Design and conduct long-term reliability lab studies of new features and modules.
- Perform statistical analysis and data trending using data sets, software, and hardware logs. Create technical reports summarizing your findings and showing results.
Do you have what it takes?
- This person has meticulous attention to detail, strong organization, analytical and communication skills.
- Works well within cross-functional teams to support initiatives to solve complex technical problems that will improve instrument reliability overall quality of existing commercialized products.
- Familiar with or has a desire to design with CAD and/or 3D printing.
Additional qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Bioengineering, related engineering, or life sciences.
- 0-2 years of Systems Engineering with experience (or aspiration) to work in instrument platform development and V&V
- Data and statistical analysis (Excel, JMP, or other)
