As an API Gateway Engineer, you will be part of our team tasked with managing a large API Gateway implementation for a Federal Customer. You will determine ways to problem solve, analyze, and develop solutions based on your client's needs. You will design and manage API Gateway policies to apply consistent security and data governance to APIs. You will also design, develop, implement, and support enhancements or new API Gateway functionality by translating business requirements into well-architected solutions.

You Have:
- Experience deploying and maintaining applications using a Linux command line interface
- Experience with web APIs
- Knowledge of the basic understandings of network infrastructure devices, TCP/IP, routing protocols, firewalls, basic service ports, spanning ports, and TCP/UDP traffic
- Knowledge of the basic understandings of HTTP headers, Reverse Proxy technology, and Web security technologies, including SAML and OAUTH2
- Ability to adopt and use new technologies
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of experience with Systems Administrator or Master's degree
- Ability to obtain Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification within 6 months of hire
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with Broadcom API Gateway
- Experience with basic scripting experience in Python or Bash
- Experience using cloud technologies, including Amazon Web Services
- Knowledge the basic understanding of Software Development concepts
- IAT Level II including, Security + and Security + CE Certification, or higher 8140-Compliant Certification
- Security+ CE, SSCP, CCNA-Security, or GSEC Certification is preferred
Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
