The Work

  • Work as part of a technical support team delivering a quality service to single/multiple clients using a variety of hardware and software products
  • Analyze and understand clients' needs and expectations, as well as alternative architectures and trends review architectural definitions looking for optimization and risk reduction
  • Drive changes of the systems for updates.
  • Takes responsibility to lead small to medium scale design projects, interfacing with project managers
  • Establish, explain, and validate the solution testing criteria for projects.
  • Design services in accordance with Accenture standards and vendor best practices.
  • Remain current on vendor best practices as it relates to the interlinking of technologies (VMware, Storage, and Backup).
  • Provide expertise on system performance tuning, capacity planning, and maintenance patching and new version installation.
  • Develop and maintain standard templates for repeatable build outs.
  • Work with vendors and drive them to help us meet our service level obligations.
  • Plan and implement small to medium scale changes on production systems.
  • Analyze and assess the impact and risk of small to medium risk changes on production systems Install, configure, patch, and maintain appropriate technologies (e.g., servers/VMware/backup/ storage).
  • Design and assist scale disaster recovery tests.
  • Create and review technical system recovery plans.
  • Demonstrate commitment to Service Excellence.
  • Perform major upgrades of systems and associated products.
  • Act as technical lead.



Here's What you Need

  • Minimum of 3-5 years Storage Administration and Architecture experience (DellEMC, Netapp,)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years Backup Administration and Architecture experience (DellEMC, Commvault, NetBackup)
  • Minimum of 1-3 years Public Cloud Storage and Backup administration or archival (i.e., AWS, Azure, Google)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working on an enterprise level operations team
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience working with SAN Switch Administration and Architecture
  • US Citizen with the ability to pass stringent background checks
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)

  • Storage experience
    • Powers Store, Power Scale, Isilon, Vmax, XIO, Power MAX,
  • Backup Experience
    • NetBackup, Commvault, Rubrik, Power Protect, AIR GAP
  • Switch Experience
    • Cisco, Brocade
  • Storage Certification
  • experience working with VMWare
  • ITIL Foundation certification
  • Experience working with High Availability environments
  • Proven ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
  • Good organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills



As required by the Colorado Equal Pay Transparency Act, Accenture provides a reasonable range of minimum compensation for roles that may be hired in Colorado. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For the state of Colorado only, the range of starting pay for this role is $90,288 - $148,900 and information on benefits offered is here.
