GRAIL is looking for a Staff Salesforce Engineer, to serve as the technical lead of GRAIL’s IT Salesforce Engineering team. This team builds custom processes and applications using Salesforce's business configurable components, including related applications across the CRM environment. This individual should be a technical subject matter expert for Salesforce.com with a working knowledge of marketing cloud, Pardot and related CRM applications and appropriate use with respect to the entire Customer Life Cycle.
This role will also involve working in a cross functional core team with GRAIL’s Customer Support, Sales, Commercial and Marketing teams and responsible for roadmapping, release planning, architecture, design, implementation, qualification, deployment and support of new systems and capabilities on the Salesforce platform.
Ideal work location is Raleigh - Durham NC. But also open to remote location within the US.
You will...
- Be the primary technical driver to implement best practices for CRM implementation across the team.
- Design scalable robust solutions on the Salesforce platform to meet business requirements.
- Provide guidance to business on functionality available on the Salesforce platform to address business needs.
- Drive evaluation and selection of customizations or appexchange apps to address business requirements.
- Develop designs and solutions to integrate Salesforce with internal and external SaaS platforms over REST API interfaces.
- Maintaining custom objects, formulas, validation rules, workflows, process builder, approvals, and assignment rules.
- Lead internal and external resources to accomplish goals and objectives.
- Ensure timelines and milestones are actively achieved.
Your background should include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Bioinformatics or similar technical field or equivalent with BA/BS with 8 years of experience; Masters degree with 6 years of experience with Salesforce CRM implementation and application administration and at least 4+ years of Salesforce Solutions Architect experience including a detailed understanding of CRM core, integrated application architecture. Or equivalent work experience.
- 6+ years Salesforce implementation and administration experience including at least two successful Implementations.
- Business workflow such as Medical CRM, case management, understanding across the customer lifecycle, leads, account management, document system configuration, workflows, and field/data maps.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Salesforce.com developer toolkit including Apex Classes, Controllers and Triggers, Visualforce, Force.com IDE, Migration Tool, Web Services.
- Salesforce Technical Architect certification(s) - ADM201
- Excellent Proficiency in SOQL, Salesforce APIs, HTML, XML, JavaScript, SQL, Java, Apex, and SOAP-based web services.
