* Design, maintenance and support of vMWare Suite and ESXi environments.
* Design, maintenance and support of NetApp/Pure storage arrays.
* Identify infrastructure and security issues and develop plans to fix or report to the relevant teams.
* Interpret and enforce security policies and procedures.
* Participate in security compliance efforts (HIPAA, HITRUST, etc.)
* Evaluate and recommend new and emerging virtualization and storage products and technologies.
* Manage assigned projects and program components to deliver services in accordance with established objectives and timelines.
* Respond to inquiries from staff, administrators, site personnel and outside vendors, to provide technical assistance and support.
* Troubleshoot malfunctions of compute/storage hardware and related systems to resolve operational issues and restore services.
* Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience.
* Strong technical, analytical and interpersonal skills required.
* 3+ years supporting vMware/ESXi.
* 3+ years supporting Modern storage technologies (NetApp/StorageGrid/Pure)
* 3+ years supporting datacenter activities, including hardware installation.
* Experience in public cloud platforms - AWS, Azure is preferred.
* Two-year associates or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar discipline preferred.
* Ability to write and/or modify scripts, using scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, etc is preferred.
* Ability to communicate in an understandable, polite and friendly manner, both written and verbal.
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task.
* Willing to participate in an on-call rotation required.
* Experience working in a cross-functional team made up of other infrastructure engineers.
