The Person:

The Business Planning Manager will be responsible for hands on configuration of all new and existing Salesforce.com features including user management, roles/profiles, Permission Sets, custom objects, new page layouts, custom fields, formula fields, validations, workflows rules, email templates, Process Builder, Flows, Lightning Pages, Custom Metadata Types, Custom Settings, Managed Packages.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and manage exception logs and data for back end system integration with Salesforce.
  • Ensure data integrity by merging duplicate Leads, Contacts, and Accounts; performing mass uploads and updates of data as required.
  • Removing unnecessary fields and data; ensuring screens, fields and workflow have accurate names and reflect current workflow.
  • Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules, hygiene processes and automation as needed.
  • Work directly with sales operations team to configure solutions that are usable, scalable, and maintainable on Salesforce platform.
  • Leading efforts to integrate new tools within the salesforce ecosystem.
  • Providing advanced support to users and troubleshooting issues.
  • Staying up-to-date on the latest Salesforce improvements and communicating new functionality to the relevant internal teams.
  • Support other teams in maintaining Salesforce data quality by identifying points of failure and building reports to help proactively identify them.
  • Sandbox environment management.
  • DevOps/release management experience
  • Understanding of basic Apex triggers to perform custom actions before or after events to records in Salesforce


Required Experience:

  • 3-5 Years as Salesforce administrator.


Preferred Experience:

  • Salesforce Certification(s)
  • Hands-on experience with Apex, SOQL, and Visualforce- (Nice to have).
  • Performed integrations with 3r party APIs and installed applications from AppExchange.
  • Strong experience with Sales and Service clouds.
  • Proficient in Opportunity Management and Account Management.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud, Community Cloud, or the new Lightning user experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
  • The drive to get things done and stay composed.
  • Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Team player.
  • Results-driven.
  • Detail-oriented.


Academic Credentials:

  • Bachelor's degree.
