The Quality Assurance team is responsible for validating all work before it goes to production, this includes software: web, mobile, connected device applications, media, non-consumer facing products and more. Additionally, the Quality Assurance teams creates and maintains the framework used for automation testing at DSS and performs all performance testing.
The Senior QA Analyst will be responsible for creating test cases and test plans for projects in development. The Senior QA Analyst will act as a resource for colleagues with less experience and may lead small projects with manageable risks and resource requirements. The ideal candidate will be able to test the applications via Black Box, Regression, Release, Stress, and Negative testing methods. The Senior QA Analyst will create clearly documented defect reports for anomalies and bugs identified during test execution and communicate results across departments. The Senior QA Analyst will also drive the organizational initiative to improve Test Coverage and Automation across the product portfolio.
Responsibilities :

• Accountability for planning and managing test activities, creating detailed test plans and writing test cases
• Work with automation team to apply new technologies and automated test solutions (proprietary and open-sourced) for implementation.
• Provide direction for more junior QA team members during the testing cycle
• Proactively learn and coach testers on the backend infrastructure, new testing and technology trends, upcoming releases

Required Education :

• BS or BA degree preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 4-7 years of experience in a Quality Assurance or a similar customer-centric technical field
• Comprehensive knowledge of digital streaming devices and industry trends.
• Has experience with testing web and mobile web applications
• Has experience using web debugging tools such as Chrome Dev Tools
• Has working knowledge of the automation framework.
