The Sr. HSE Engineer -Process Safety Management (PSM), is a key engineering role within the SPS Integrated SupplyChain's Charleston SC facility. You willreport directly to the site Sr. HSE Manager but work closely with the site'smaintenance, engineering and operations teams to develop and lead robustpractices in the technical elements of Process Safety Management including,but not limited to, Mechanical Integrity, Process Safety Information, ProcessHazards Analysis and Standard Operating Procedures. You will be the key resource at the facilityto support the Charleston engineering and operations team directing ProcessSafety Management (PSM) programs through incorporation of impactful operatingprocesses and keeping in front of leading practices in appropriatestandards. Position is located in North Charleston, SC.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide program development, drive andimplementation of the Process Safety Management (PSM) system.
• Maintain metrics related to PSM and HSEincluding but not limited to; on-time action completion, compliance actioncompletion, incident investigations, program maturity improvement, etc.
• Coordinate with HSE team on PSM standards.
• Provide technical assistance to engineering,operations, and maintenance for compliance with PSM elements.
• Job Site compliance reviews for permitcompliance and standard verifications including hot work, confined space, locktag try, Contractor Safety and others as needed.
• Ensures compliance standards toinclude US EPA 40 CFR and applicable State Regulations for Air, Water andWaste with respect to Process Safety Management.
• Prepares and submits required RegulatoryAgency reports.
• Effective coach and role model forproduction leaders; leads PSM initiatives.
• Best Practice sharing among location groupsand other similar manufacturing locations.
• Drives standard work for PSM processesRisk Management Program regulations.
• Capital expense projects; lead, liaison, andsupport projects throughout the preparation and funding steps.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Bachelor's Degree
• 3+years' experience in environmental, PSMcompliance, inspections, and reporting
