Responsibilities
What you'll do (Design & Development)

• Participate in the full SDLC; including development, estimation, planning, and design
• Contribute to overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of applications
• Support the build and deployment pipeline
• Provide production support on rotation for a suite of microservices and core applications.
• Contribute to technical design and delivery of complex features across multiple systems.
• Help create documentation and training related to technology stacks and standards within your team
• Use / contribute to the refinement of Digital Engineering related tools, standards, and training
• Engage / collaborate with external technical teams to ensure timely, high-quality solutions
• Engage with shared services teams and vendors when necessary

Who You Are

• You have significant experience with Java and Spring Boot
• You have significant experience with Angular 9+
• You have experience with relational databases (Oracle and SQL preferred)
• You have experience with Cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP (plus)
• You have experience with Kubernetes (plus)
• You're capable of independently delivering tasks with moderate complexity
• You have an ownership mentality and initiative to iteratively improve applications, team processes, and personal skillset
• You have strong communication skills
• Can explain technical and business subjects to partners outside the team in large groups
• Creates highly detailed documentation for large initiatives
• You are open minded towards learning new technologies
• You have experience teaching and mentoring junior engineers
• You understand coding standards and design principles / patterns
• You have a working knowledge of Git and JIRA
• You have some experience in or Agile and Test-Driven Development
• You're familiar with build and release procedures and tools such as Jenkins and gitlab pipelines
• You're capable of providing production support, debugging, and troubleshooting for moderate to high complexity issues
