ActioNet has an immediate opportunity for a Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer requiring a Secret Clearance located in Rosslyn, VA. The Sr. Azure Cloud Engineer will play an integral role in architecting and building reliable, secure, and cost-effective solutions in a federal Microsoft Azure platform for DS-CTO. This position will be responsible for delivering cloud solutions that enables the business to run workloads within a cloud environment securely.

Responsibilities

• We are looking for a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team.
• Performs a variety of systems engineering tasks and activities that are broad in nature and are concerned with major systems design, integration, and implementation, including personnel, hardware, software, budgetary, and support facilities and/or equipment.
• Provides quality assurance review and the evaluation of new and existing software products.
• Work with other cloud administrators and provide technical guidance and engineering best practices when it comes to building and scaling cloud native applications.

Qualifications

• At least 8+ years of experience in Azure cloud environments
• Experience with Classified networks and systems
• Possess senior-level experience with Microsoft Azure and have solid security and networking
• Possess senior-level Linux and Windows-based systems administration skills in a Cloud or
• Virtualized environment.
• Possess mid-level experience with Windows Active Directory administration.
• Possess experience migrating workloads from on premise to Microsoft Azure.
• Possess experience managing data center operations, including data assurance, monitoring,
• alerting and notifications.
• Possess excellent communication, problem solving, planning, and analytical skills.
• Experience with State Department is a major plus
