We are actively seeking a Software QA Team Lead with a strong passion for technology and the ability to work well with a team of high caliber professionals from a wide range of backgrounds. This position will give you the opportunity to be involved with a broad range of technologies underpinning our world class games, including TypeScript, JavaScript, node.js, npm, GCP, MongoDB, SDK standards, Android, iOS, Unity and HTML 5.
What you'll do

This aspect of the position needs an individual with mental hardiness who is able to change direction suddenly and still keep their momentum. (If you can't do this part, you don't want this job.)

  • Running feature team meetings.
  • Ensuring QA team verifies just-fixed bugs and just-implemented features from local Dev team to ensure that still-occurring bugs are quickly returned to local Dev team and that newly implemented features have issues rapidly identified.
  • Ensuring team provides timely documentation of test tools, for QA audience, dev audience or business audience.
  • Ensuring Testrail manual test cases have accurate step-by-step details. All new features are covered in comprehensive manual test cases. All updated features result in manual test cases being updated to stay accurate. Removed features have associated manual test cases removed.
  • Creating and maintaining project test approach/strategies.
  • Working closely with other internal and international company's QA personnel on testing, features and app delivery.
  • Participating in department or QA team building events, (typically every 2 months, approximately 2 - 7 pm).
