Change Healthcare Company is seeking an Engineering Manager for its Development team. The ideal candidate will have a history of delivering and implementing new technologies. This candidate will combine strategic thinking, exceptional communication skills and the ability to manage complex initiatives with the team. Working closely with our product, development, test engineering, and development operations teams, the Engineering Manager will oversee the technical infrastructure from estimates to planning to delivery and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Define the technical vision for the development team while coordinating between other internal technical teams.
• Create a strong infrastructure within core system to enable reuse for future projects.
• Work closely with other teams to ensure the successful release of products.
• Represent the needs of the development, test engineering and dev/ops teams by defining and prioritizing technical product requirements.
• Work closely with all internal departments on the go-to-market process to ensure the successful release of new products.
• Develop tech stack roadmaps to guide our future strategy in platform development.
• Coordinate work and responsibilities within a cross functional team to help facilitate the product software development life cycle.
• Manages individuals, providing coaching, mentorship on both their day-to-day work as well as collaborating on building career opportunities and personal growth.

Minimum Requirements:

• 5+ years' experience as a software developer.
• 1+ years leading development projects
• 1+ years as a dev/ops engineer

Critical Skills: Able to successfully drive new technologies in a highly complex and dynamic environment. Diagnosing and troubleshooting technical problems to correctly arrive at the clearest path forward.

Physical Requirements: Environment - Office environment, up to 20% travel required. Physical Requirements - Sitting, standing, walking, and using keyboard.

Education / Training: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar field preferred.

Additional Knowledge & Skills: Healthcare IT experience preferred. Big Data and data pipeline technologies.
