Description
SAIC is seeking a Software Developer to support our TSA customer in the United States of America. This position can be worked remote nationwide supporting standard EST business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The candidate will perform requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, test, documentation, and support.
- The candidate will also participate in software team meetings, hardware and software design reviews, and technical interchange meetings.
- The software engineering process also empowers the candidate to work with Cyber, Safety, QC, Operations, and Test organizations to deliver high quality working software.
- The candidates will work in a team environment, with well-defined goals, supporting both new and legacy systems.
- The candidate is able to receive timely feedback on software implementation by working directly with the customer, ensuring Agility and delivering a software product that fills immediate needs.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors and 2+ years of related experience; four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree
- U.S. Citizenship is required
- Candidate must be able to obtain a DHS Public Trust clearance
Required skills include proficiency in:
- Javascript and Apache Cordova, including HTML and CSS
- Java
- C# and the Microsoft .NET framework
Desired skills include proficiency in:
- Mobile development on Android and iOS with an emphasis on using Cordova
- Python, especially with the Pandas or Numpy library
- Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, and Linux (preferably RedHat, CentOS, or Fedora)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and networking
- Spring Framework
- Git
COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC's vaccination policy. All SAIC employees must be fully vaccinated and they must submit proof of vaccination on their first day of employment. Target salary range: $95,001 - $105,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
