Grail is looking for software engineers who enjoy testing, automation, performance, build and release, and developing high-quality software. As a software engineer, you will be working on a broad range of software systems and projects. You will work closely with DevOps, lab operations, and clinical teams developing software, comprehensive test plans, finding, tracking, and resolving bugs.
Functional Duties:
• Proactively creating, updating, and maintaining test plans/test cases with minimum or no PRD.
• Proactively performing various tests on new software products to ensure that programs satisfy all specifications and requirements.
• Work closely with multi-functional teams to find defects, report bugs, and debugging during each sprint cycle to ensure that our products work correctly.
• Communicate the defects to multi-functional teams.
• Identify automatable features and create automation scripts for repeated tasks in your feature domains, debug and maintain the automation failures on a regular basis.
• Working with multi-functional teams, frequent communication will be required.
• Triage and reproduce customer-reported issues!
• Support and maintain our product in testing environments on AWS is a plus.
• Perform end-end tests to identify the potential issues!
• Have code deployment experience is a plus.
Required skills:
• Needs to work with Automation eng, Lead the automated + Manual test, debug. Talk about the product-create test plans.
• Solid understanding of creating and performing excellent test cases UAT, functional testing, regression tests. Document test cases into test case management system.
• Self-motivated individuals with proficient to proactively find defects during each sprint cycle
• Extremely detailed oriented with great problem-solving skills. Technical enough to find the root cause of the defect.
• An ability to work in a scrum-based agile and nimble environment.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills and the ability to adapt your message to the technical level of the audience.
• Fast learner for complicated web applications.
• Experience with LIMS is a plus.
