Job Description:
Position Summary:

• Develops, enhances, debugs, supports, maintains and tests complex ETL implementations that support multiple applications and business units in supporting data movement functions.
• These application program solutions may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools.
• Participates in the design, development and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies.
• Contributes to the technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives. Serves as a fully seasoned/proficient technical resource.
• May collaborate with other programmers in the team to coordinate delivery of software application. Routine accountability is for technical knowledge and capabilities.
• Candidate will be part of the Agile Scrum team and will be participating in daily stand-ups, ceremonies, grooming, planning etc. for the application development team.
• Typically requires over 10+ years of experience preferable in the financial sector.

Required Skills:

• Ability to create, debug and maintain complex SSIS Packages.
• Ability to create, schedule and monitor jobs using Autosys.
• Must be proficient in writing JIL scripts.
• Must be proficient in writing UNIX scripts.
• Skilled in writing complex stored procedures using SQL Server/Oracle/Teradata.
• Must have hands on experience working with large datasets.
• Must have experience dealing with Offshore/Onsite model.
• Excellent data analysis and data profiling skills using SQL.
• Very good understanding of Database and Data warehousing concepts.
• Works under minimal supervision on data analysis and data quality support functions.
• Ability to debug and maintain an admin module built on Java platform.
• Ability to interpret data lineage and very complex data transformation techniques.
• Strong understanding of normalization techniques.
• Strong Team Player.

Desired Skills:

• SQL/Oracle/Teradata, SSIS/DataStage/Informatica, T-SQL, PL/SQL, Java, Complex Stored Procedures, View, Functions, CTE, Autosys.
• Ability to interpret Business features and convert them to simple to understand user stories.
• Prior Experience dealing with dedicated data souring application development would be a plus.
