The Software Engineer works closely with key business data and designs solutions, supporting applications development and automation through the design of new or modification of existing applications and systems. This position will leverage key development, database, writing of computer applications, analytic, and business intelligence skills as a full stack developer across a diverse and multi-faceted application landscape.
You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges.
Primary Responsibilities:

  • Solves unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business
  • Demonstrates and applies understandings of modern development methodologies and tools to develop and deploy and maintain solutions
  • Write, debug and test code to create working solutions
  • Understand and apply unique programming/scripting languages specific to software engineering
  • Understand and influence underlying architecture of solutions and how it meets business goals
  • Demonstrates knowledge as a full stack developer, managing both front end and back-end development of applications, websites, etc.
  • Develop self-documenting code
  • Leverage modern components, tools and technologies to design decoupled, modular, flexible solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent education and experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL Server
  • 2+ years of experience working with Web front-end (jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap)
  • Experience with .NET Core, C#


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with ShellTeamCity and/or Azure
  • Experience with Github
  • Advanced experience with ServiceNow implementations
  • Knowledge of HEDIS Reporting and or Healthcare Industry
  • Self-motivated with a proven track record in ITSM technologies
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills


Soft Skills:

  • Organized and analytical, adept at working in a team environment, able to implement on time to a project schedule, and able to handle multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
  • Solid communication, presentation and writing skills, excellent troubleshooting skills with ability to demonstrate influence in a consultative fashion to stakeholders and other team members
