Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer in our Distribution IT division you will provide customer service to U.S. based sales offices. We're looking for a dynamic customer-oriented person who enjoys solving business problems. In this role, you will assist financial professionals to make the most of our technology package by listening to their business needs, providing training and support on existing capabilities, and partnering with other IT teams to define and deliver new capabilities.

Here are a few examples of the kinds of things you'll do:

  • Work as part of an IT service team providing daily support to financial professionals
  • Push boundaries of traditional IT roles by contributing to our engineering culture in a variety of ways including (but not limited to) defining / analyzing business problems, assisting in system design / configuration, and executing system testing
  • Complete complex data analysis and migration tasks
  • Work with end users and product owners to define emerging business needs
  • Work with product owner on a prioritized backlog to build, test, and deploy Salesforce click and config solutions (e.g. reports, page layout changes, new applications, flows etc.)
  • Work closely with product owner and development team members to help shape custom solutions where needed
  • Provide training through various methods including online tutorials, videos, webinars, and one-on-one consulting to end users and stakeholders



Qualifications

We're looking for someone with:

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree with a preference in a science, technology, engineering, or math related field or equivalent work experience
  • Basic planning, organizational, problem-solving, analytical, decision-making and communication skills
  • Must have the desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow
  • Ability to work on cross-functional teams and collaborate with both IT and non-IT partners



Salary Range Information

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salary Range

$49300 - $114000 / year

Hours

This position will require on-call responsibilities.

Work Environments

This role offers the ability for in-office, hybrid (blending both office and remote work in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements. You'll work with your leader to determine which option may align best based on several factors.
