Department OverviewThe Professional Services team for the Video Evidence System Integration division of Motorola Solutions develops and deploys integration solutions between our Evidence Management platforms and CAD (computer-aided dispatch) and RMS (record management systems) applications via the use of API's. Additionally, we develop and maintain a software solution called Integration Manager as well as developing custom workflow solutions for our customers utilizing their CAD/RMS systems.
Job Description
As a Software Engineer you will be involved in expanding the capabilities of our integration applications between CAD (computer aided dispatch) systems and our video evidence software applications from within the Video Evidence Systems Integration department at Motorola Solutions.
Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer for the Professional Services team within Video Evidence Systems Integration you will:
- Design, develop, test, implement and improve our integration solutions
- Deploy custom integration solutions for customers (remotely)
- Be self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly and independently and work within a team
- Love learning
- Communicate effectively
- Be able to handle customer calls
- Utilize effective troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve issues with customers
- Have excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to produce clear, concise documentation
Required Skills:
- .Net (4.x, Core 2.1+)
- Command line (bash, cmd)
- SQL Experience
Desired Skills:
- Powershell scripting

Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ year of experience in Software Engineering
OR 3+ years of hands-on experience in Software Engineering
