A full stack developer, someone who likes building software systems and APIs as well as working with 3rd party vendors to use their APIs.  You should be willing to move around to different projects, and work within small teams. Though not a front end focused role, doing some UI will be part of the role.

What You’ll Do

You would be working on the team that configures and manages smart devices for homes. This group owns the UI and the APIs for the company to configure smart devices in homes, as well as UI for displaying resulting data. It also owns the integration code with all of the 3rd party smart home providers. The role would be to work with and improve the current implementation, add new integrations with 3rd party providers, and work on the team to move the current implementation forward in features and stability.

What You’ll Need

• Experience with Node JS and typescript
• Experience working with 3rd party APIs and vendors
• Knowledge of React
• Knowledge of Front end UI frameworks like Bootstrap or Material UI
• Work independently
• Comfortable working with legacy code
• Relational database experience
• Ability to work from home and resides in one of the followings states: AK, AL, AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, HI, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MT, NC, NH, NJ, NM, NV, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WA, WI, or WY

Preferred Qualifications

These qualifications are not required but are valued

• Postgress SQL experience
• Python experience

Compensation 

• $80,000-$120,000 DOE
