Software Engineer For ChannelVantage in Detroit, MichiganJob duties include:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Maintain client facing and internal applications. Participate in design and implementation of new features, code reviews and evaluation of the functionality.
2. Working with an Agile team while implementing full SDLC process using N-Tier CRUD architecture.
3. Develop software using C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript Angular9+, LINQ, SAML, Rest APIs and Unit Tests
4. Convert current solutions using ASP.NET webforms to a Client (Angular) - Server (N-Tier Architecture). Implement Proof-of-Concepts.
5. Utilize Team Foundation Server to track work items. Manage builds and automated deployments using AzureDevOps.
6. Maintain and build SSIS packages, new automated processes for SQL Server Agent Jobs using T-SQL.
7. Monitor all process and alerts and troubleshoot failures/issues.
8. Communicate effectively with higher management. Assist, support & train client teams and new team members.
9. Maintain and provide support for legacy windows application and excel reports using VBA
10. IDEs used Visual Studio, VS Code, SSMS.

Qualifications - Education and Experience

Position requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, IT, Computer Engineering or related field, or foreign equivalent education, and 2 years' experience in a software/solution development, application or systems programming or related position is required. 2 years of experience is required in all the following:

1. Architect, estimate effort, maintain code, implement design of new feature following the full SDLC process using N-Tier CRUD architecture.
2. Develop software using C#, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, CSS3, JavaScript, Typescript Angular7+, LINQ, SAML, Rest APIs and Unit Tests
3. Design & build schema, debug, analyze, manipulate & optimize T-SQL queries and identify bottlenecks using SSMS. Extract, Transform, Load using SSIS.
4. Follow Agile methodologies, adhere to industry guidelines & conventions, continuously improve processes, participate in code reviews with the software development team, directly communicate with client teams.
5. Manage builds and automated deployments using AzureDevOps, utilize Team Foundation Server to track work items and apply approved methodologies for correction.
