Wait. What? How?

Imagine yourself on a boat hundreds of miles from shore. You are walking around this boat and notice a problem. This problem could become costly if you let it fester for too long. Your only line of communication is the tablet in your hand. You open the app and weave your way around a complex 3D model of the ship to find the problem piece. You launch a drone to fill out a form and snap a few pictures. Thousands of miles away, maintenance receives an alert from your inspection. They download the inspection and figure out the best schedule and action plan to repair the issue next time the ship docks. Crisis averted!

You are the How

We want you to help create and maintain that solution. This isn't your average position where you might be restricted to one small piece of the puzzle. You'll be a critical member of a small development team. Your work will only begin when you contribute to our .NET website, maintaining and implementing tools like 3D, scheduling, reports, and dashboards. Then you tweak, coax, and massage the Xamarin based cross-platform mobile app to eek out every ounce of performance all the while adding new features. On top of all that you will participate in brainstorming sessions, giving you the chance to contribute innovative, original ideas all parts of the code.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Strong general technical knowledge with a minimum of 3+ years professional programming work experience.
• Experience in Web Development: 3+ years (Required)
• Proficient development skills in Web programming languages including JavaScript and CSS.
• Two or more years of experience with SQL Server development such as writing queries with TSQL and creating database objects such as stored procedures and functions.
• Knowledge of SQL Server administration is highly desired.
• Microsoft Azure knowledge is a plus
• Mobile development experience is highly desired, however, MVVM knowledge will go a long way.
• Understanding of coding methods and best practices.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, strong problem-solving skills, results driven, and common sense.
• Ability to follow projects through to completion, adhering to tight timelines, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to learn new technologies quickly, step outside of your own comfort zone, and handle unfamiliar challenges enthusiastically.
• Enjoys work, loves to help people, and can work well independently or in groups.
