Torch Technologies is seeking a skilled Software Developer/Analyst to join our advanced air and missile defense simulation team. Candidate must be proficient in the Java programming language and should also be familiar with C/C++ programming languages. Experience with Python and/or MATLAB tool development for data analysis is also highly desired. Experience in software Verification and Validation (V&V) process is desired. Radar simulation development and analysis experience is required. Qualified applicants will have excellent programming and analysis skills and must be able to work independently, and as part of a software development and analysis team to support V&V of missile defense system component simulations. Specifically, successful candidate will support V&V of an advanced radar simulation developed primarily in Java. Tasks will include code reviews and algorithm assessments of simulation components, as well as tool development and analysis to support data anchoring activities based on tactical and Hardware-in-the-Loop data comparisons. Candidate will also support generation of V&V data analysis products and documentation to support overall simulation accreditation activities.

Job Requirements

• B.S. degree in Computer Science or other STEM degree from an ABET accredited college or university
• 5-8 years of software development and analysis experience
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Proficiency in Java, with some experience in C/C++ programming languages
• Experience in MATLAB and/or Python programming for data analysis tool development
• Experience in software verification and validation process is desired
• Familiarity with radar system simulation is desired
• Familiarity with FORTRAN language is a plus
• Position requires the candidate meet requirements to obtain a final security clearance in order to access classified information. Inability to obtain a security clearance will result in candidate being ineligible for the position.
