The role
Kin + Carta is a digital transformation organization. As one of the key strategic pillars, Kin + Carta Connect is a full-service digital agency that strategizes, designs, builds, implements, tests, and optimizes world-class, global, and multi-channel experiences.
The SharePoint Developer will create a document library in a web-based portal application that uses SharePoint to store documentation. This person will also assist in the development of the UI for this SharePoint function.
Role responsibilities
- Lead the build out of key features in a wed-base document library including:
- Permissions-based access to the document library
- Ability to upload files up to 3 GB
- Ability to share folder and file locations using hyperlinks
- Document versioning
- Recycle bin capabilities
- Real-time collaborative editing of MS Office documents
- Check in/Check out functionality
- A document purging process with retention schedule
Minimum qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science or a similar field
- 3+ years of experience with SharePoint development
- 2+ years of experience with React, JavaScript, SQL Server, and PowerBI
- 2+ years of experience with permissions in SharePoint

- .NET development skills and experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Being proactive and willingness to learn, develop and adapt
