Description: Our client is currently seeking a Senior/Mid-level Software Engineers

Location: Boston, MA, Mason, OH, Raleigh, NC, or Farmington Hills, MI (Remote options)

Term: Full time

Rate: Up to $145k plus benefits

Work Authorization: USC, GC Holder

Responsibilities:
• Write high-quality software using Java and JavaScript.
• Analyze business problems to determine the best technological solution.
• Plan and estimate work required for new features or components.
• Write effective unit and functional tests.
• Design APIs to support new integrations.
• Lead domain modeling sessions and capture the resulting domain models.
• Mentor less-experienced team members.
• Help improve our Agile process.
• Develop stories and drive execution of business plans, projects, and team-level technical work.
• Help share knowledge/experience and be a mentor to other team members.
• Provide accurate estimates for Epics for effective sprint and release planning.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency with Java and JavaScript.
• Experience with database technologies, such as MySQL, Oracle and MongoDB.
• Experience crafting, implementing and securing high-performance RESTful services.
• Experience working with web browsers and supporting technologies (such as CSS 2 & 3, HTML5, Ajax, and JavaScript frameworks) for accessibility and responsiveness.
• Experience with multiple server-side technologies such as Ruby on Rails, PHP, Node.js, Django, etc. would be highly useful as well.
• Performance optimization experience including browser page rendering, network traffic, and backend system tuning.
• Experience with Web Application Security and Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with customer-facing scalable low latency Web-Services supporting high volumes of requests.• Ability to improve the testability of our application while driving high standards for coding and testing across the organization
