Senior Technology Engineer - IIB/Java/API Containers/Mobile (Remote)

This position is part of PNC's Payments Services Strategy - MIS Technology team. As a Technology Engineer Sr, you will support PNC's Payment Services Strategy Program. This is a multi-year strategic program with high enterprise visibility, involving a number of separate key initiatives. The Payments Services Strategy - MIS Technology team is part of the Bank Application Systems group and functions within the C&IB Technology Organization. This group is responsible for supporting application services/solutions that enables our C&IB business to drive speed to market, enhance customer experience, enable customer self-servicing and also recognize cost savings.
We are looking for a highly experienced Technology Engineer Sr who will be responsible for providing support to our Tier1 application stack comprise IIB / Java / API Containers / Mobile & Vendor Products like IBM-FTM / DP and providing hands-on technical expertise required to design and develop as needed. A successful candidate will have experience with various design & development, deployment, automation, preferably with good experience in Linux/Unix/Windows platforms.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:• Experience as a Technology Engineer Sr / Lead working on these stacks - IIB / Java / API / Mobile platforms.• Ability to lead & support Tier1 Prod application also SDLC function involving above Technology stack.• Ability to participate size, scope, estimate development & support efforts with limited information.• Experience creating high level and detail design documents & Play / Run book for supporting application.• Ability to provide overall Technical leadership for medium and large scale Projects & Play lead role.• Experience orchestrating day to day production support activities and doing assigned lead work activity.• Ability to support technology stack to work with cross functional teams & service partners.• Ability to handle issues and remediate and resolve them thru teamwork capable to lead small size teams. • Ability to perform peer reviews ensure design was properly implemented provide constructive feedback.• Working with Client & Vendors and driving the needed technical support activity from PNC perspective. • Ability to act as a TE - lead when need arise work with all levels of management & communicating with them.

GIT, Jenkins and Maven & CI/CD and others.

Work Experience
Roles at this level typically require a university / college degree, with 5+ years of industry-relevant experience. Specific certifications are often required. In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education and experience (including military service) may be considered.
