Description:The candidate will be the technical project lead for a systems engineering, integration, and test (SEIT) team for supporting production activities of shipboard communications, networking, and computing systems. This role coordinates project tasks and schedule with various technical leads to ensure that the team delivers systems on time and within budget. This role requires demonstrated breadth of systems knowledge to support research, design, proposal, and other related technical tasks. Candidates with Subject Matter Expertise in shipboard communications and computing systems is a plus. Specific areas of expertise would be in the areas of radios, networking, and computing.

Basic Qualifications:
Travel up to 25%.

Knowledge of communications technologies including radios, networking, computing devices and their interfaces.

Experience working with a cross functional and cross sites multidisciplinary team including systems, software, electrical, and mechanical backgrounds.

Ability to interpret high-level direction, create discrete tasks, develop project schedule, and execute to the plan with minimal review and input from leadership team.

Demonstrated experience driving technical issues and decisions to resolution.

Knowledge of product cycles including system design, production, and sustainment phases.

Able to present technical issues and resolution plans to management team, customers, and executives.

Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with earned value management and control account management via providing reports, metrics and status tracking to product managers.

- Proven ability to manage technical project with a multidisciplinary team.

- Knowledge in communications system including radios, networking, and computing environment.

- Knowledge in developing/executing software/hardware test plans and procedures.

- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Highly organized and able to adapt to rapid changes in priorities and plans.

- Able and willing to travel as requested.

Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related field, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 5 years of professional experience; or 3 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.

Ability to Work Remotely: Full-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work remotely full time at a location other than a Lockheed Martin designated office/job site. Employees may travel to a Lockheed Martin office for periodic meetings.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret
