Success in the Role: What are the performance outcomes over the first 6-12 months you will work toward completing?

You will guide and inspire a team of solutions architects as you work directly with our largest most strategic customers, ensuring Tanzu's success by delivering prototypes & POCs of Tanzu deployments in customers' multi-cloud environments. You will be building Reference Architectures for Tanzu that capture prescriptive real-world guidance on deploying Tanzu at scale. You will be working collaboratively with Product Management, Engineering & Marketing to continually refine Tanzu products to meet the customer requirements you discovered. You will promote usage of Tanzu products with customers for their full application lifecycle, by building relevant collateral such as whitepapers, presentations, updates to reference architectures, etc. You will have the chance to continuously learn through experimenting with Tanzu products and sharing of findings with team & community. You will be evangelizing to the business and software communities via shared mediums incl. articles, conferences, meetups, social media, etc.

The Work: What type of work will you be doing? What assignments, requirements, or skills will you be performing on a regular basis?

• You will deploy the latest versions of Tanzu products (Tanzu Kubernetes Grid, Tanzu App Platform, Tanzu Kubernetes for Operations, etc.) in the lab, learning about new features, integrating different products, and suggesting improvements.
• You will review / build Tanzu Reference Architectures, and their automation, in order to improve them in any front (customer fit, best practices, technical improvements, etc )
• You will participate in POCs to learn about the customer's use cases and deliver Tanzu-based solutions to fit their needs
• You will promote the use of Tanzu Reference Architectures internally and externally providing workshops, presentations, whitepapers, talks, and engaging in events, blogs, social media, etc
• You will be learning the latest technologies around Tanzu and Kubernetes

What is the leadership like for this role? What is the structure and culture of the team like?

You will be joining a growing team of Solution Architects within the Tanzu Solutions team of Modern Application Management Business Group (MAMBG) at VMware. We are looking for individuals who are self-driven and have the passion to learn new skills and solve complex technical issues. The leadership for this team believes in creating a collaborative and inclusive workplace and building strong relationships and partnerships with the various teams we work with.

Where is this role located?
Remote: This role is fully remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the location you feel most productive and comfortable. You will be expected to live within 0-4 time zones of the primary location.
