Job Description

You will ensure that our applications provide an excellent customer experience. Your ability to focus on details and passion for precision & accuracy will be instrumental to your success. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will make you effective in your role as you tactfully present alternative solutions while advocating for our customers. This is a senior role where you will be expected to lead in all areas of QA and testing. Some of your specific responsibilities will be:

· Test applications to ensure they function as expected and are free from deficiencies, defects, and anything that negatively affects the customer experience.

· Assist in creating documentation and supporting customers. At times, working with customers to determine root causes and solutions to problems.

· Assist in product definition for new versions and specifications for new features.

· Establish and coordinate test cases and plans for large projects and releases, including testing automation.

· As part of the engineering team, you will assist in the various parts of the software development process, providing ideas and feedback to ensure our application meet customer and business expectations.

· You will collaborate with the team to increase effectiveness in production tools and workflows.

· Help to establish QA best practices and assist the team in adhering to them. Help to further develop the skills and subject matter expertise of the QA team members, providing training and mentoring as needed.

Qualifications

What You Need to be Successful (Minimum Qualifications)

· 4+ years of Quality Assurance experience and training; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in relevant field.

· Solid understanding of Quality Assurance and testing best practices, methodologies, and technologies (e.g. Regression, Functional, Acceptance, Automation, Ad-Hoc, Exploratory, Security and Performance). 

· General coding experience or test automation knowledge and capabilities. 

· Strong knowledge of operating systems, web browsers, mobile devices, development tools and approaches, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), defect tracking, task tracking tools, and MS Office applications. 

· Must be a high-energy and motivated individual who is a team player, quick learner, with good critical thinking skills and work ethic.

· Extremely detail-oriented with excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate in one-on-one and small to large group situations to customers, team members, management, and other employees. 

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

· Experience with virtual environments and 2D/3D spatial reasoning skills.

· Experience using 3D modeling or other CAD tools.

· Knowledge of construction/roofing, insurance, or geospatial data industries.
