**This is a virtual / 100% remote position based in the U.S. We are seeking an individual who can work Central Time Hours**

INTRODUCTION:

We are looking for a Software Engineer III to be an integral part of our engineering team that builds our web applications to deliver unique and personalized health and nutrition coaching to our clients. You possess a solid understanding of back-end systems based on Microsoft & .NET Core best practices and a growing knowledge of the other supporting technologies that make up a complete application stack. You can code, test, deploy, operate, and iteratively improve application features and components. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and driven to learn and take on new challenges continuously.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web-based business applications built on Microsoft technologies.
• Help support tier-2 ticket response which may include debugging code, writing SQL, implementing hotfixes into the current codebase, and responding to clients.
• Learn to and improve on monitoring and optimizing systems to ensure the best performance.
• Document code appropriately for maintainability.
• Assist in the collection and documentation of user's requirements and bug reports.
• Perform work efficiently to meet deadlines.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• 3+ years of back-end professional software development experience utilizing C# and object-oriented design skills.
• 1+ years of experience in authoring SQL Server scripts for reading and writing data
• Familiarity with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) services in Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Front-end/UI experience building applications that utilize Javascript, CSS/SCSS, HTML, JSON. Angular and Typescript are preferred.
• Knowledge of application architecture and design patterns
• Experience with unit testing or Test Driven Development (TDD)
• Direct experience working with the entire software development lifecycle, from conception, architecture definition, detailed design, scoping, planning, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the entire software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
• Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting work and complex problems
• Experience or comfort in working with a completely remote team
