What we are looking for:
- 4+ years of experience in a professional engineering environment
- Deep familiarity with building for the web across both the front and backend
- Experience building products or large scale features with a high level of polish
- A demonstrated record of building scalable and performant systems
- Comfort working directly with non-engineers, such as product designers, product managers, or business stakeholders
Bonus:
- Started a company of your own
- Taken an active role in setting coding or architecture standards for an engineering team
- Been a part of brainstorming and ideation sessions for early stage products or features
- Dealt with performance and scaling systems with databases or data stores in real-world settings
- Helped manage complex, zero downtime migrations of critical system components
