We are looking for engaged and passionate Software Engineers to join our growing team in India.

As a Senior Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, deployment, and operation of business-critical features that add customer value on top of Voice.

Best practices, evangelization, and mentoring in your team and across the whole of Engineering will be part of your day-to-day job. 

Quality, excellence, and agility drive our delivery processes and you will help us level these up. Using a variety of back-end stacks, appropriate for each requirement, but always hosted on AWS, we build added value and resilient services on top of voice and fully integrate with our customer's business-critical tools (CRM, Helpdesk, E-Commerce, …).

Your mission @Aircall

  • Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers.
  • Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of key modules.
  • Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems.
  • Revise, update, refactor, and debug codeBe part of an engineering organization delivering high-quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients.
  • Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring.
  • Mentor team members

A little more about you!

  • You have at least 5+ years of experience in back-end development on a large scale, preferably typed language and have followed OOPS and SOLID principles (any programming language).
  • Strong understanding of Data Structures (Array, hash set, linked list, etc) and knowledge of time complexities of their different operations.
  • Strong understanding of OOPS concepts.
  • Good to have experience in Node.js, Typescript.
  • Good to have experience in AWS in a production environment and understand how to design for, deploy on and get the best out of, the environment and services provided by Amazon.
  • Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do.

My absolute favorite moment this past week was getting home and receiving an unexpected Mother's day gift! I was both pleasantly surprised & grateful. This gesture reminded me of how moments like this can set the tone for the day, the week, and it made me pause so I can fully appreciate it.

What does your typical day look like?

My favorite part of the week is well, closing, closing, and closing. While the end of the month can sometimes be stressful, it is fulfilling working towards a goal and achieving it over and over again. As I have started working larger deal, it has been a fun new challenge as I have to be on top of my game.

What are some things you learned at the company?

I've learned Product Marketing is like a long-distance relay race, where the baton is the product and the track is the wider market. The first lap is all about the customer and market research. During the second lap, we pass the baton top the Product team and to build and manage that solution. Then during the third, it's all about going to market.
