Job Description
FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Senior Software Developer in Durham NC to provide expert advice to business analysts, programmers and other team members to develop applications. Modify existing software architecture to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance. Design applications to provide for high degree of security, accuracy, and operation in a heterogeneous environment with scalability and high availability. Prepare quality assurance strategy for assigned software components. Review functional specifications provided by business analysts and act as subject matter expert in design and enhancements to products using the latest JAVA, J2EE, and Oracle database. Provide enhancements or fixes that are necessary from implementations to the core product. Provide technical assistance and advice to the bank to build, deploy, and develop the product in their environment as needed. Integrate third party systems with the FIS product that are required for enabling the business of the bank. Work with the following: HTML, HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, CSS, Java, J2EE, ReST Services, Angular, AngularJS, and MSSQL.
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related occupation: developing software and applications using JavaScript, Spring, and Angular; performing unit testing by writing test cases using Junit frameworks and Web/UI codes; utilizing ReST Services, Angular with Visual Studio Code to build the application with Oracle/SQL server as the system of record; developing ReST services built using Java utilizing Eclipse as the local build tool; and tracking the changes/ defects with JIRA as the story/ defect management system and git/bitbucket as version control. Telecommuting and/or working from home is permissible. 5% travel is required.
