As a Senior Quickbase Application Developer, you will play a key role in the Enterprise Business Systems team. We are looking for you to bring your Quickbase platform expertise and support internal customers across the organization. You will be involved in key business projects, and we are looking for you to provide technical leadership as the team scales.

Responsibilities: 

  • Technical design and development of Quickbase applications

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to develop ideal business processes and automate manual work 

  • Work with Business Analysts to transform business requirements into solutions

  • Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship 

  • Participate in roadmap and resource planning sessions

  • Maintain high standards of solution quality within the team by establishing best practices

  • Identify and encourage areas for growth and improvement within the team 

  • Become a subject matter expert on the development needs of the organization 

  • Develop technical design documents and assist in creating test plans 

  • Develop reference documentation of legacy processes and well as recurring requests

  • Perform unit testing and assist with integration and system testing 

  • Assist in analyzing and executing change requests and enhancements 

  • Follow appropriate change management controls to mitigate operational risks 

  • Contribute to post-implementation reviews 

  • Continuously review and make recommendations to improve effectiveness of internal processes, tools, and systems 

 

Qualifications: 

  • 5+ years of experience in Quickbase application design and development 

  • B.S. degree in Computer Science or equivalent relevant experience 

  • Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor the team on standards and development processes

  • Ability to communicate technical issues and solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Ability to assess, review and create workflows

  • Experience developing integrations between Quickbase applications and external systems such as Salesforce or similar CRM, third-party marketing, billing, and ERP systems using Pipelines is a big plus

  • Must have experience working with Integration Software such as Workato or similar tools

  • Must have experience working with Splunk or similar monitoring and logging tools

  • Experience with JavaScript, Basic HTML, CSS, XML is a plus 

  • Experience with Exact Forms / Exact Forms + is a plus
